The short version:

Open about AI: Neuna says at the start of every call that she is an AI.
Recording: the live test on this site is not recorded. If a business records calls, Neuna says so at the start.
Neuna calls with consent: calls go to contacts who agreed to hear from that specific business (§ 174 Austrian TKG 2021). Anyone who prefers no further calls is taken care of automatically (opt-out list).
No advertising cookies, your data is not sold.

2. What we process and why

Website

No analytics or advertising cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for anonymous visit counts, without cookies or user profiles. Your language choice is stored in a strictly necessary cookie "lang" and in your browser's local storage. Our hosting provider processes technically necessary connection data (IP address, time, page) to deliver and secure the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Sign-up form progress is stored only locally in your browser.

Trial sign-up and customer account

When you start the 14-day trial we process the details you enter (business name, type, address, phone, website, services and prices, opening hours, contacts, FAQs, tasks, your email) plus the time and country of sign-up, to set up Neuna, run your account and contact you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Your password is stored only as a cryptographic hash (PBKDF2). Signing in uses a strictly necessary session cookie.

Callback requests

Name, business, phone number, preferred time and message are used only to call you back (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Tips and offers by email (consent only)

Only if you tick the optional box “I’d like to receive occasional tips and offers about Neuna by email” do we send such emails (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 174 Austrian TKG 2021). We store the time, wording and version of your consent as proof. You can withdraw at any time in your account, via the unsubscribe link in every email, or by emailing us.

Live browser test

During the live test your voice is streamed in real time to our voice-AI provider so Neuna can respond; the business name you enter is passed on for this (Art. 6(1)(b)/(f) GDPR). The call is not recorded and no transcript is stored; only basic technical data such as duration and cost is kept. To prevent abuse we store a truncated hash of your IP address for at most 26 hours.

3. Recipients and processors

Cloudflare, Inc. (USA), website hosting, server functions and data storage.
Retell AI, Inc. (USA), voice AI for the live test and for Neuna during the trial.

Data processing agreements are in place. Transfers to the USA rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, otherwise on EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR). We never sell your data.

4. Retention

Trial and account data are kept while your account exists; if no contract follows the trial, we delete them no later than 6 months after the trial ends, or earlier on request. Invoice data is kept as required by law (7 years). Callback requests are deleted after 6 months. Proof of consent is kept while we rely on it and for up to 3 years after withdrawal.

5. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and to withdraw consent. You can view and edit most details in your account. Contact [email protected]. You may also complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at).

Providing the data is required for the trial; without it we cannot set up Neuna. No automated decision-making takes place.
